A Wiki is a website that can be easily created and edited via a web browser. The unique feature of a Wiki is its ability to exist as a collaborative website! Anyone with permission can access and edit the Wiki - making it a powerful tool for both teachers and students!
MY SCIENCE WIKI....
I would like to use my Wiki to present interesting and exciting topics in science outside of the classroom! Students will learn the "weird science" through videos, pictures, resource links, activity pages and many, many more features on my Wiki. Additionally, I will use my Wiki as a sounding board for student's ideas, thoughts and reactions about certain topics in science. Students will interact via the discussion board after reading interesting articles, viewing videos, or completing a science activity. Hopefully my Weird Science Wiki will inspire a genuine interest in science for all of my students!
